PANAJI:
Students from V.M Salgaocar Institute of International Hospitality Education (VMSIIHE) excelled at ENTRADA 2019, a national level inter-collegiate event organised by Rosary College of Commerce and Arts securing the first place in 10 out of 12 events and bagging the second spot in two events. Assessed on creativity, efforts and co-ordination among the members, for their overall performance the team bagged the first runner up trophy.
The daylong event brought students from colleges across cities together on a common platform. The theme for this year was Tourism and Jobs – a Better Future for All.’
The team from VMSIIHE team included Joana, Riya C., Tanya, Jeson, Naythan, Ethan, Abel M., Kenneth, Asther and Aaron who went by the team name Concept Creators. Speaking on the excellent performance by the team, Riya Chandra a student of the institute said “This event gave us a great platform to showcase our talents, help build our confidence as well as improved the coordination between the members. We are proud of our achievements as a team.”
