  • Rajagiri Hosts ‘Techno-Crib 2025’

By NE Reporter on December 24, 2025

    KOCHI:
Rajagiri organised ‘Rajagiri Techno-Crib 2025’, a unique Christmas crib-making competition that blended faith with modern technology, at its Kakkanad campus. The team from Rajagiri Engineering College secured the first prize, while KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology and Amal Jyothi College of Engineering and Technology shared the second prize. Cash awards of ₹1 lakh and ₹50,000 respectively were presented to the winners.

The two-day event, held on December 22 and 23, was jointly organised by Rajagiri Business School and Rajagiri College of Social Sciences, with the support of the Institutions Innovation Council, KCYM, and the Kerala Jesus Youth Movement. Students from various colleges within and outside Kerala participated in the competition.

The objective of Techno-Crib was to integrate tradition with advanced technology while preserving the sanctity and spiritual essence of the Christmas crib. Participants incorporated innovations such as artificial intelligence-based narration, intelligent lighting systems, smart sensors, projection mapping, and interactive displays in their crib designs. The competition emerged as a vibrant platform that seamlessly brought together tradition, creativity, and technological innovation.
