V. M. Salgaocar Institute of International Hospitality Education (VMSIIHE) launches Goa’s first finishing school – Elegance – in Goa and is set to roll out the programme this year.
The institute has thrown open its doors to young women to transform themselves into ladies with grace, elegance and finesse. The finishing school offers two certificate courses; Basic-1 month and an Advanced-3 months programme.
The courses are especially designed to build self-esteem and confidence and focuses on topics of etiquette and the dynamics of interaction with others. Subjects will include fine dining etiquette, event planning and management, image enhancement and the art of communication which will be covered in the two modules. Poise, menu planning and wellness will be part of the curriculum in the advanced programme.
The courses will be spread across nine hours per week, three days per week and will be executed under the guidance of expert faculty including visiting resource persons.

This comprehensive program is designed to imbibe refinement, affability and finesse in an individual. Etiquette will help build elegance, style and decorum, qualities and skills which are critical.”

The institute also has a strategic collaboration with BHMS Switzerland.
