  • Rajagiri Excels in NIRF Rankings

By NE Reporter on August 14, 2024

    KOCHI:
Rajagiri College of Social Sciences (Autonomous) has proudly secured the 20th position nationwide in the College Category of the NIRF 2024 rankings. This prestigious achievement underscores the college’s consistent excellence, maintaining its place among the top 50 colleges in India since the inception of the NIRF rankings. This recognition highlights the institution’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence, innovative teaching, research, and holistic student development.

Outperforming all other institutions in the state, Rajagiri College of Social Sciences (Autonomous) has firmly established itself as a leader in the higher education landscape. “Our focus has been on nurturing students with a global perspective in a dynamic environment. Our longest-standing international partnership spans over 25 years, and today, we collaborate with a host of reputed institutions and universities worldwide on accelerated programmes that allow our students to pursue further studies abroad.

Being a Rajagiri alumnus not only eases the admission process at these partner universities but also opens doors to fee waivers and scholarships. The courses we offer are industry-relevant, strongly supported by our industry connections. For instance, the college has not only introduced Four-Year Undergraduate Programmes but has also started integrated programmes in MBA and MCA. We encourage our faculty and students to engage in socially impactful research and action, aligning with global goals such as the UN SDGs. The college fosters an entrepreneurial mindset and culture, all of which have contributed to our outstanding national ranking,” said Principal Rev. Dr. Saju MD CMI.

Building on a rich legacy of over 69 years in higher education and as pioneers of the social work program in Kerala, the college has expanded to offer diverse, multidisciplinary programmes at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels to more than 2,000 students. The NIRF 2024 rankings, conducted by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), saw participation from 10,845 institutions across the nation, making this accomplishment even more significant.
