The logo of ‘I CAN’, an app being developed under the seed money project titled ‘Development of Gamified Health Care Solutions for Patients Suffering from Cancer’ has been released jointly by Dr. V P Gangadharan and Sidharth Siva, award winning Film Director and actor, handing over the logo to Dr. Manu Melvin Joy.
Dr. Manu who developed this app is an Assistant Professor of School of Management Studies, CUSAT. Seed money is being provided to new faculty recruits for promoting research. Dr. Gangadharan stated that an app to uplift the spirit of the cancer patients who are going through the toughest phase of their lives is the need of the hour. Dr. Manu Melvin Joy and Sidharth Siva are cancer survivors under the treatment of Dr. Gangadharan during the period 2004-06.
