Keltron has signed an MOU between VSSC on 18 th November 2019 for providing industry oriented training to technicians on high reliability soldering/inter connection, which is the most essential part in Avionics Package fabrication.
The programme includes two week intensive training package designed by VSSC as per the standards and executed by Keltron. Conducting test and certification will be jointly carried out by VSSC and Keltron.
The maximum number of technicians in a batch is limited to 12. Electronic packages used in aerospace applications called Avionics System is a separate class by itself in terms of fabrication and testing.
Apart from the usage of high reliability military grade components with special screening, the fabrication methodology is of utmost importance. Training to technicians on high reliability soldering, inter connections and electronic fabrication techniques as well as inspection procedure is an essential part of certification for Avionics Package fabrication.
In order to meet the requirements of high reliability Electronics package fabrication for India’s Satellite launch vehicle application, VSSC/ISRO has identified Keltron as a technology partner for imparting training on Launch Vehicle Electronics Package fabrication. As VSSC is planning to launch new programmes like SSLV, Gangayaan there is a need to multiply the present workforce and provide training at a faster pace.
The training facility is being established at Keltron Equipment Complex, Karakulam. The course is expected to start from third week of December 2019. The Knowledge Service Group of Keltron will be nodal agency for conducting the course. The fees fixed Rs.12500/- +GST.
