International Conference on Current Trends in Chemistry Inaugurated at CUSAT

KOCHI:
“International Conference on Current Trends in Chemistry- CTriC 2022” a two-day International Conference organized by Department of Applied Chemistry, Cochin University of Science and Technology conducted in hybrid mode was inaugurated by Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr. P. G. Sankaran at the department auditorium on Friday. In the inaugural address Dr. P.G.Sankaran talked on the importance and new trends in Chemistry in the field of therapy using artificial
intelligence. The Book of abstract of C-Tric 2022 was released.

HOD Dr. K. Sreekumar, Dr. K. Girishkumar, Director IQAC and Dean Faculty of Science, CUSAT and Dr. V. N. Rajasekharan Pillai, Vice Chancellor, Somaiya Vidyavihar University, Mumbai, spoke. Toppers of M Sc Chemistry 2018-20 batch, Malini George and Athira Nandakumar were felicitated with Prof. P.Madhavan Pillai gold medal and Prof. S.Sugunan endowment. Dr. Kala R and Dr. P P Shandev, Assistant Professors are the Conveners of C-Tric 2022. Eminent scientists from reputed institutions will deliver lectures on various topics.
