    KOZHIKODE:
Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK) has continued its upward trajectory in global rankings, securing a career-best #141 position in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2025 for ‘Business & Management Studies’ Category. This marks a notable improvement from last year’s 151-200 range and a significant leap from its initial ranking in the 401-500 range in 2021.

The latest recognition reinforces IIM Kozhikode’s growing influence in global management education, reflecting the institute’s relentless pursuit of academic excellence, impactful research, and strong industry engagement. IIM Kozhikode achieved an overall score of 68.5 in this edition of these Rankings.

The QS World University Rankings by Subject 2025 analyzed 5203 institutions worldwide, with 2303 institutions assessed in the Business & Management Studies category and 650 institutions were ultimately ranked in this edition. The rankings evaluate institutions on four key parameters:

Citations per Paper (10%) – Evaluates research impact by considering citations from globally recognized publications.
H-Index (10%) – Measures the quality and consistency of faculty research output.
Speaking on this achievement, Prof. Debashis Chatterjee, Director, IIM Kozhikode, said: “IIM Kozhikode’s rise in the prestigious QS World University Rankings is a testament to our unwavering commitment to excellence in management education. This consistent improvement in global standing reflects our focus on holistic learning, cutting-edge research, and industry relevance in Business and Management Studies. We take immense pride in shaping globally competitive leaders who drive meaningful impact. This recognition will inspire us to continue innovating and setting new benchmarks for Indian B-Schools on the world stage.”

IIM Kozhikode’s consistent rise in global rankings is complemented by its strong domestic and international presence. The institute was ranked among the Top 3 management schools in India as per the NIRF Rankings 2024 and have now risen to global rank #68 in the Financial Times Rankings for Masters in Management category, Rank #70 for Financial Times Ranking for Executive Education – Open Enrolment category and world Rank #86 for Financial Times Global MBA 2025, for its one-year MBA.
