  • EdgeVarsity Inks MoU with JCET, Kerala to Boost Employability

By NE Reporter on August 17, 2021

    PALAKKAD:
As a leap towards the goal of enhancing the employability of their students, Jawaharlal College of Engineering and Technology (JCET), a part of Nehru Group of Institutions, one of the top-ranking educational institutions in the country has inked an MoU with EdgeVarsity Learning Systems, the Bangalore based education technology company. This MoU will enable the students of JCET to get trained in EdgeVarsity’s prestigious programmes like Oil and Gas Piping Engineering, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, Full Stack Development, Data Science and Analytics and Cyber Security at attractive terms.

Speaking on the occasion, Sekharan Menon, CEO of EdgeVarsity said “In line with our vision to be India’s leading facilitator for enhancing the employability of youngsters, we are excited about this collaboration with JCET. When a student is exploring a career path, their options should not be restricted because of a limited curriculum. EdgeVarsity focuses on enhancing the employability, by bridging the skills gap between the industry expectations and the knowledge our current higher education system imparts”.

“JCET has always been determined to not just produce outstanding students but a generation of skilled and successful youth that can thrive in today’s highly competitive world. Our association with EdgeVarsity is expected to enhance the industry readiness of students significantly and we believe this association will help us in achieving our goal”, said Dr.N.Gunasekharan, Principal of JCET.

EdgeVarsity recently signed MoUs with The Drilling College Celle, the German institute Specialized in training engineers and supervisors for the Oil and Gas industry and ATCC, an EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) approved training institution which is authorized to provide Aircraft Maintenance Engineering training programme. Henceforth they will be certification partners for the courses offered by EdgeVarsity and also be one of the two signing authorities in their certificates.
