Dr. L. Sunita Bhai endowment lecture series, instituted in memory of the noted multilingual scholar and Professor in Hindi late Dr. L. Sunita Bhai was inaugurated by Vice chancellor Dr. K.N Madhusoodanan at CUSAT Hindi Department auditorium.
While reminiscing the dedication and excellence shown by Dr. Sunita Bhai in her 32 years of teaching, Vice chancellor Dr. K.N Madhusoodanan called for the celebration of all positive vibes while dismissing all negative thoughts. Registrar Dr. K. Ajitha presided over. The endowment was instituted out of the corpus amount of rupees ten lakhs, donated by Adv. Balakrishna Shenoy, husband of Dr. Sunita Bhai.
‘The Hindi- Kongini Dictionary’ compiled by Dr. Sunita Bhai after 50 years of research is considered to be a great mile stone in this field. She has won many awards including Kendra Sahitya Academy award. Dr. R. Sasidharan, Head, Department of Hindi, Dr. Shemim Aliyaar and Dr. Sisily Thomas spoke. The two day lecture series will be lead
by Famous Hindi critic Dr. Vinod Sahi.
