KOCHI:
Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) won the third time. This is a unique achievement for the University that celebrates its golden jubilee. It won the award in 2017, 2019 and 2020. In 2020, the award will be shared with M G University, Kottayam. The Chancellor’s Award carries a cash prize of ₹5 crore, and, CUSAT will be sharing with MG University. This is the sixth Chancellor’s Award.
This time, the parameters for deciding the award had changed. The parameters were almost equivalent to that of NACC accreditation norms. CUSAT excelled in all the areas of academics, research and, project proposals. The all-round performance of the activities was taken to account in awarding the Chancellor’s award. IQAC of CUSAT prepared the performance documents that was submitted for the award.
