KOCHI:
A one day workshop with regard to the amendment of Merchant Shipping Act, 1958 which is the basic legislation of Shipping in India was held at K M School of Marine Engineering on Saturday 6 th August, 2016, where the shipping dignitaries and luminaries assembled at K M School of Marine Engineering, CUSAT.
For commemorating this historic event a plaque was unveiled on 4th September, 2019 by Vice Chancellor of CUSAT Prof.(Dr.) K.N. Madhusoodanan at the foyer of K M School of Marine Engineering. The upgraded “Full Mission Engine Room Simulator” was also inaugurated by Chancellor of CUSAT Prof.(Dr.) K.N. Madhusoodanan at K M School of Marine Engineering on the same day.
Prof.(Dr.) K.A. Simon, Director, KMSME, Capt. Gaurav Chhabra, Director, Technical sales and Business Development, Applied Research International Pvt. Ltd., Delhi, Jis George Associate Professor, KMSME addressed the meeting and Prof. N. G. Nair, Course in-Charge, KMSME extended the vote of thanks.
