Cusat: Sasthrayan 2018 Curtain Raiser Inaugurated

Curtain raiser programme of Sathrayan 2018 orgnaized by Cusat in association with RUSA Programme of the Union Government, was inaugurated by Cusat Vice Chancellor Dr. J. Letha.
The objective of Sasthrayan is extending the fruits of research activities to the General Public. A lecture by Dr. Goutham Chathopadya Jet Propulsion Scientist at NASA named ‘Are We Alone’ , was the curtain raiser. He elaborated on the subject NASA’s venture outside earth in search of Life.
The programme showcased various equipment developed by NASA for this purpose and its specialties. The programme held at the Seminar Hall of the Electronics Department had an interactive session where the queries raised were cleared. Sasthrayan 2018 which is scheduled to be held on 27th & 28 th of this month will give opportunity to general public, people’s representatives and students to see and understand various research activities of Cusat.
