Indian Women and Mathematics Workshop
National Board for Higher Mathematics and Department of Mathematics, Cusat are jointly organizing regional workshop on ‘Indian Women and Mathematics’ (IWM) during 2-3 January 2018 at Cusat. Eminent speakers from different parts of the country will address and interact with the participants. ISTD Student Chapter
Cusat Vice Chancellor Dr. J. Letha will inaugurate Kerala’s first Student Chapter of Indian Society for Training and Development (ISTD) in the campus today (25.10.2017). Mukund Krishna (MD and Founder, Suyati Technologies) will be the Chief Guest in the inaugural session scheduled to be held at SMS Auditorium.
The Student Chapter in Cusat campus is under the aegis of Kausal Kendra, the skill development centre in the Cusat. ISTD is the national level professional body of experts which aims at training and development of Human Resource. Student Chapter will conduct various training programmes for the skill development of youth. Jose. P. Philip (Chairman, ISTD, Kochi Chapter), S. R. North- east monsoon after 25th : Cusat radar centre
The Radar Centre at CUSAT has informed that the state, in general may experience partly cloudy sky and weak showers at isolated places. The north- east monsoon is expected to set in after 25 th October with heavy downpour for the subsequent days. The maximum and minimum temperatures would be around 32 o C and 25 o C respectively.
