Meritorious Alumni of CUSAT felicitated
The alumni of School of Engineering, Cusat who bagged national level achievements and brought prestige to the University were felicitated during the Induction Programme organized by SOE for first year B.Tech students today. Athul J, 13 th rank holder and state topper in Civil Service exam 2016 and former student of B.Tech Mechanical Engineering (2011-15) and Jayadevan, Best Audiographer in the 64 th National Film Award and former student of Mechanical Engineering (1998-02) were honored by presenting memento by Cusat Vice Chancellor Dr. J Letha. ‘Fresher students should take inspiration from our alumni who conquered greater heights with their hard work’ said Dr. J. Letha while inaugurating the function. Dr. Sunil K Narayanakutty (Controller of Examinations), Dr. R. Sasidharan, Dr. R. Poornima Narayan (Members, Syndicate), Dr. P.S Sreejith (Dean, Engineering), Dr. M. R Radhakrishna Panicker(Principal, SoE), Sheena. S (Secretary, PTA) spoke.
Book Publishing Course concluded
One week ‘Certificate Course in Book Publishing’ jointly organized by CUSAT Library and National Book Trust, Govt. of India has concluded. Narendar Kumar, Training Officer, NBT delivered the keynote address in the valedictory function held at CUSAT Electronics Department Auditorium. Dr. R. Sasidharan,
Syndicate Member presided and distributed the course certificates. Around 60 candidates from Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Haryana participated in the course.
Spot admission for Marine Engineering
Spot admission to fill up vacant seats for the B.Tech (Marine Engineering) course by the K. M School of Marine Engineering, Cusat will be held at 9 a.m on 31 st July at the Seminar Complex. Candidates
having valid CAT 2017 rank can participate. In absence of SC/ST candidates with valid CAT 2017 rank, the SC/ST candidates without CAT rank will also be considered.. Details are available at www.cusat.nic.in.
