Cochin University of Science and Technology has published the results of the Common Admission Test (CAT 2021) of the University which held from 16 th July to 18 th July 2021 at various exam centers inside and outside Kerala.
A total of 39,269 candidates registered for the test for various academic programmes of the University and a total of 27,827 appeared. Vighnesh J.R., “Aswathy”, Kottamukal, Nalanchira P.O., Thiruvananthapuram secured first rank for B.Tech programme. Faiz Hashim, Valiyil House, East Gramam, Wadakkanchery, Thrissur secured second rank and Sidharth S.Kumar, Varikolil House, Vakayar P.O., Konni, Pathanamthitta secured third rank for admission to B.Tech Programme. V.Gayathry, Palvarnam, Sowparnika Lane, Nedumcaudu ,Karamana P.O., Thiruvananthapuram obtained first rank in Scheduled Caste category. For admission to 5 year Integrated M.Sc. Programme in Science, while Vighnesh J.R. and Sidharth S. Kumar
obtained first and second rank respectively, Sonal S., “Sahatha”,ParambilPeedika P.O.,Malappuram has obtained third rank for this programme. V.Gayathry got first rank in Scheduled Caste category. The result was announced in the press meet held at the Uiversity Syndicate Hall. Vice Chancellor Dr. K.N. Madhusoodanan, Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr. P.G.
