A month-long Chancellors Chair Professor programme concluded at Department of Computer Science, Cochin University of Science and Technology.
As part of the programme, Prof. Gaurav Sharma from University of Rochester, USA took classes on Machine learning and had discussions upon various research subjects with teachers and students. The Chancellors Chair Professor scheme envisages visit of eminent academicians from university/higher education institute world over with global ranking within 200.
“The programme aims to upgrade the University to global standards”, said Dr. Sasidharan at the valedictory function. IQAC Director, Dr Girish Kumar, Department Head Dr. Santhosh Kumar and Programme Co- ordinator Dr. Madhu S Nair spoke.
