KOCHI:
All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has sanctioned Skill Orientation Centre for Engineering, in a Cochin University of Science and Technology for the SC/ST students.
The centre is intented to provide special training to SC/ST engineering students of CUSAT for increasing their skills in communication, personality development and proficiency in English language. A grant of Rs. 12,30,000/- has also been sanctioned. The centre was sanctioned considering the proposal submitted by Dr. Sasi Gopalan, Syndicate member and Professor in Mathematics, SOE, CUSAT.
