KOCHI:
Department of Mathematics of CUSAT in association with HOMI BHABHA CENTRE for Science Education and TATA Institute of Fundamental Research will be organizing a residential training for around 40 students who have selected for National Mathematical Olympiad during 27th to 30th December 2018.
National Mathematical Olympiad trainers Adhithi Phadke, Prithvijith De, B.J Venkatachala and Prof. K. N Ranganathan will be leading the classes. Training, food and accommodation will be free for the 40 students who have qualified in the Regional mathematical Olympiad (RMO). Class 8, 9, 10 and 11th students who are preparing for the 2019 Olympiad also can apply for the training program on a payment basis. Limited number of mathematics teachers from high schools and higher secondary schools in Kerala who desires to becoming can also can apply for the training. Selected students other than RMO awardees fee will be Rs 2000 and Rs 3000 for teacher. Students will provided accommodation.
