KOCHI:
Rajagiri College of Social Sciences and Rajagiri Business School in association with Spicmacay organised a concert by Shashank Subramanian on the Carnatic flute, at the Kakkanad campus. Shashank was accompanied by Alankode VS Gokul on the violin and Hariharan Sankaran on Mridangam. Shashank Subramanyam, is a senior flute artist in the field of Indian Classical Music.
Among the many coveted awards bestowed, The Knighthood from the Govt of France (2022), Grammy nomination for Floating Point with Guitarist John McLaughlin, Sangeet Natak Akademi Award by the Govt of India (2017) and Kalaimamani by Govt of Tamil Nadu (2001).
Shashank has had the unique opportunity to perform for all the Hon. Presidents of India since 1992 at the Rashtrapati Bhavan. He has presented concerts, workshops, lec-dems in prestigious concert halls, universities, and conservatories in over 50 countries.
