THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
The National Institute of Speech and Hearing (NISH) is organizing an online seminar on the importance of early speech and language intervention in children with cleft lip and palate, on September 19.
The programme, which is part of the monthly NISH Online Interactive Disability Awareness Seminar (NIDAS), is being organized in association with the Directorate of Social Justice. Manju S, Assistant Professor, Department of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology, NISH, will lead the webinar.
The proceedings of the webinar will be streamed live through Google Meet for the registered participants from the NISH campus at Akkulam here from 10.30 am. The one-hour webinar, to be conducted in Malayalam, aims at creating awareness on various intervention approaches to help children with disability adapt and function age appropriately.
