Mohanlal’s recent singing at a stage show in Australia drew flak from some Mollywood fans as the actor’s lip sync went terribly wrong, much like the infamous Lalisom experiment during the National Games a few years ago.
In a video posted online, the actor along with Prayaga Martin are seen singing ‘Chandrikayil Aliunnu Chandrakantham.’ While the duo manage to get through the first minute, after the bridge Mohanlal gets his pacing wrong and forgets to mouth the lines while the song plays in the background.
The video had many trolling him. One fan had posted, “He is a terrific actor and terrible singer… why can’t he just accept the fact and just stick to what he excels at?” However, another YouTube user posted, “What ever you public comments he is a great person. He was superb through out the show. Each and every person enjoyed the show it was a grand success.
