KOCHI:
Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) has invited women graduates with professional experience to register under the second edition of its innovative nano women’s empowerment initiative named K-WINS.
Applications can be made at https://startupmission.in/k-wins/by July 26, according to KSUM, which is the state government’s nodal agency for entrepreneurship development and incubation activities. K-WINS (Kerala Women in Nano Startups) facilitates flexible assignments to those on a break from career and have proven expertise in the chosen field. It encourages women with experience in sectors such as IT, sales-marketing, finance, graphic designing and HR.
Launched in January this year at KSUM’s Integrated Startup Complex in Kalamassery, the pilot programme of K-WINS saw the participation of 200 women on a career break. In its first phase, the programme enabled assignments in fields such as content creation, AI & ML data creation, B2B sales and front-end development.
Of late, the spread of Covid-19 has triggered a demand for flexible talent. Hence the launch of K-WINS-2.0.
