KOCHI:
The first set of K. Chittilappilly Foundation (KCF) education excellence awards will be presented on August 19 at Ernakulam Kaloor Renewal center.
Kochouseph Chittilappilly, chairman of KCF will inaugurate the Award ceremony. On the occasion, there will be a session lead by the young writer and motivational trainer Sahla Parveen. Sheela Kochouseph, Managing director of V Star Creations, Dr. George Sleeba, Excecutive Director of KCF and Jacob Kuruvila, Additional director of KCF will also be there to attend the function.
It was in this year KCF started scholarship and sponsorship programs for children. 5 students each from classes 5 to 12 are considered for the awards based on their academic performance. And also 5 students each from classes 5 to 10 who belong to economically backward families will get sponsorship for studies. Apart from educational welfare activities, KCF actively involves in helping treatment of poor patients and house building for poor families.
