The online classes for the 2020 admission batches at School of Legal Studies, Cochin University of Science and Technology(CUSAT) began on a grand note, with an Induction programme attended by luminaries from the Bar, Bench and Academia.
Justice(Rtd) Kurian Joseph, Supreme Court of India, Justice(Rtd) R. Basant, Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India, and Aniruddha Rajput, Member, United Nations International Law Commission were the distinguished speakers who enlightened the students of Five year BBA-LL.B(Hons) and B.Com- LL.B(Hons) about the relevance of pursuing legal education and the emerging avenues in the study of law.

The classes for LL.M(One year) of the 2020 admission batch commenced with an Induction programme in which Prof. Manoj Kumar Sinha, Director, Indian Law Institute, New Delhi, and Dr. P. Leelakrishnan, a Senior retired Professorr of CUSAT and a leading academician in the field of Environmental Law, interacted with the students. The School of Legal Studies is offering International Trade Law, Environmental Law and Criminal Law as specialization in this academic year, and the online classes for the courses have begun, according to Dr. Vani Kesari A., Director.
