Dr. Padmanabha Shenoy, Rheumatologist ambassador of Asia Pacific League of Associations for Rheumatology (APLAR) and founder of Centre for Rheumatism Excellence (Doctor Shenoy’s care) at Nettoor, Ernakulam has won young Rheumatologist award.
Dr. Shenoy has been selected for the award for his scientific studies in the field of rheumatism. The award has been given away to Dr. Shenoy at Indian Rheumatology Association national conference held in Guwahati. During the conference, he also presented a paper on the need of more studies in the field of Rheumatism in India. Dr. Shenoy had also been hailed internationally for his study on Scleroderma, a rheumatic disease. He is the first Indian Rheumatologist to become the ambassador of APLAR.
