BENGALURU:
cult.fit, India’s leading fitness platform, today announced that they will be facilitating free COVID vaccination drives to inoculate their offline fitness member base at select cult centres. The company stated that the registration for the drive, across all its cities, will be starting from 16th June and the drives will be scheduled across cities, starting 24th June. This will mark the start of the vaccination initiative, with subsequent drives in the coming months that will facilitate vaccination access to new members as well as those who will be ready for 2nd doses.
Through this initiative, cult.fit is gearing up to arrange drives across 20 cities over the next few months. To help with the execution, cult.fit is partnering with MFine and their network of hospitals for logistics and operational support.
cult.fit has always prioritized the health and wellbeing of its community and has enabled them to lead a healthy life through their offerings. Earlier in April 2021, the company had sponsored free vaccination for all its employees and their dependents. With this initiative, cult.fit becomes amongst the first brands to extend free vaccinations at scale to its customers.
With gyms re-opening across some cities and others expected to follow soon, cult.fit’s focus has been to vaccinate its trainers, support staff and employees and on providing a safe and hygienic environment to work out.
Commenting on the development, Naresh Krishnaswamy, Growth Head, cult.fit, said, “The second wave of COVID–19 has severely affected many around us and swift vaccination of the people seems to be the long-term solution to the crisis. At cult.fit, our community – especially our members, mean everything to us and they have been with us throughout our 5-year journey. Their health and well-being is of top most priority to us. We hope that with this vaccination drive, we will be able to arrange for expedited access to those who have been so far unable to get vaccinated.”
The vaccination will be offered free of cost to all the cult.fit members who have offline memberships across cult fitness centres and gyms. They will also have an option to vaccinate their dependent (family/friend) at cost. The company aims to provide a smooth and safe experience at the centers with proper logistics, operations, hygiene, and safety measures in place.
