Former Supreme Court Judge and Press Council Chairman Justice Markandeya Katju, asserted that the caste based vote banks are the curse of our country.
According to him only scientific, modern and rational thinking will lead our country to progress. Justice Katju was delivering the Public Law Lecture, organised by Cusat School of Legal studies. “Most our religions are based on superstition”, he said. “After 100 years later people will start thinking scientifically and religions will vanish”, he added. Dr.N.S. Soman, Dean, Cusat faculty of law presided.
