Amala Paul is expected to present her best ever performance in the Tamil movie ‘Amma Kanakku’ which will hit theatres soon. Amala plays the role of the mother of a 15-year old girl in the movie which is presented as an emotional drama.
It tells the story of a caring mother and the troubles she faces in raising her daughter, who is indifferent to studies.
Amma Kanakku is the remake of the Bollywood film ‘Nil Battey Sannata’ directed by Ashwini Iyer Tiwari.The original film was a hit with the Bollywood audience.
Revathi and National Award-winner Samuthirakani play major roles in the film. Music is composed by maestro Ilaiyaraaja.
The film is produced by Tamil star Dhanush under his production banner Wunderbar Films.
