Aster Medcity distributed Special privilege card for Thalassemia patients in ‘Karuthal-2023’, a grand meet up of Thalassemia patients who have successfully recovered from the disorder from Aster Medcity and the existing patients in the hospital. Firoz Kunnamparambil, Renowned Social worker was part of the event.
The special privilege card provides a 50% discount on doctor consultations, a 20% discount on OP and 10% on Op Procedures. It also gives a 10 % discount on the IP bill excluding patient diet, pharmacy, medical supplies, consumables, blood and blood products and implants.

Thalassemia is a serious health condition characterised by less oxygen-carrying protein and fewer red blood cells in the body than normal. It is an inherited blood disorder.
