Gulshan Kumar Film and Television Institute of India (GKFTII) educational wing of T-Series organised a mega event to celebrate the legacy of Gulshan Kumar where for the first time Gulshan Kumar award of excellence and Gulshan Kumar young achiever award was launched at T- Series’ Laxmi Studio located at Film city, sector 16A, Noida.
The event was inaugurated by Sudesh Dua wife of Gulshan Kumar, Director of T-Series by lamp lighting in the presence of Hitesh Ralhan, Director of T- Series Stage works academy. The event was graced by chief guest Ashutosh, Senior Journalist and other eminent personalities like Narendra Chanchal- Fomous Singer, Sukhmani Lamba- Actor to name a few.
At event Sudesh Dua, Director of T-Series said that, “The celebration of Shri Gulshan Kumar’s legacy was a long awaited and special event. I was touched on seeing the students of GKFTII presenting the life of Shri Gulshan Kumar through a play, there were splendid singing and dancing performances and it gave me immense pleasure to see how beautifully our students performed. It was a fantastic event graced my many eminent personalities and launch of Gulshan Kumar award of excellence and Gulshan Kumar young achiever award was the cherry on the cake. I feel honored to be called wife of Shri Gulshan Kumar and director of T- Series.”
There were mesmerising singing and dancing performances. Gulshan Kumar award of excellence was bagged by Shankar Sahney- Bollywood Singer, Narendra Chanchal- Devotional Singer, Akhilesh Anand- Journalist, Nayanika Chatterjee-Super Model, Kumar Vishu- Singer.
The event was concluded by Dr Deepti Trivedi- Vice President, T Series educational wing by giving the vote of thanks. This 2 hour long event was attended by many prominent personalities.
