Ringing the third edition of its well known initiative called ‘ExtraordiNAARI’, Viviana Mall has invited Women Acid Survivors to create awareness regarding life after acid attacks. How is life after acid attacks? How friends and relatives behave with acid attack victims? Do acid attack victims get jobs? How do they manage? And many such questions will be answered when acid attack survivors from different parts of our country will gather to share their experiences in Viviana Mall’s ExtraordiNAARI initiative on March 07, 2018, a day before International Women’s Day.
Acid attack survivors will also set the ramp on fire in a special fashion show organized by Viviana Mall and its retail partners. Laxmi Agarwal, the Indian campaigner with Stop Acid Attacks and a TV host will be the guest of honor for the ExtraordiNAARI event.
Speaking ahead of the event, Rima Pradhan, Sr. Vice President, Marketing at Viviana Mall says, “It’s a dreadful thought to even imagine an acid attack, let alone living with it but these acid attack survivors has shown the world that no one can tarnish their confidence and fighting spirit. This women’s week, we have invited women acid attack survivors from different parts of our country to share their experiences. We aim to spread awareness regarding this inhuman crime and explain the hardships these acid attack survivors are going through in their lives in order to stop such attacks.”
Every year on International Women’s Day, Viviana Mall felicitates different achievers from various fields and this year the mall is going miles ahead to share some happy moments with women acid survivors from our nation and support their campaign to stop acid attacks and stop sale of acid.
