Women’s Only Blood Donation Camp at VPS Lakeshore

VPS Lakeshore hospital and Rotary club Cochin west together conducts women’s only blood donation camp on 9th Wednesday from 9am to 2 pm at VPS Lakeshore blood bank. The camp aims to create awareness among women about the importance of donating blood in saving valuable human lives and to make them participate in this great venture. The demand for blood and blood products are enormously high, but most women are not willing to donate their blood for they are not well informed about blood donation. The organizers of the camp hope that this initiative will bring a change in the scenario. Donation is made under the supervision of experts and hence it is absolutely safe.
