Women Startup Founders Interact with Ashu Suyash of Colassa Ventures

A select group of promising early-stage women startup founders had a highly engaging interaction with Ashu Suyash, Founder & CEO of Venture Capital firm Colossa Ventures, here today.

Kerala Startup Mission is partnering with Colossa Ventures to make capital accessible for founder from Kerala.

A former MD & CEO of CRISIL, Ashu Suyash isknown for her visionary leadership and has been a driving force in fostering inclusive entrepreneurship through Colossa’s “WomenFirst” investment thesis.

Colossa Ventures is a SEBI-registered V C, committed to building an ecosystem that powers women entrepreneurs and women-focused businesses via the “3Cs” — Capital, Capability, and Confidence.

Rajesh Krishnamoorthy, Venture Partner of Colossa, also interacted with the startups.

During the session, Ashu shared insights into Colossa’s mission to back businesses that are either founded or co-founded by women, have significant women leadership or workforce participation, or directly serve women as primary beneficiaries. She also spoke on the firm’s focus across sectors like consumer, fintech, healthcare, deeptech, climate, and cleantech.

The session concluded with a shared sense of opportunity — both in terms of potential collaborations with Colossa Ventures and the broader mission of driving women-led innovation in India.
