An appointed jury shortlisted the finalists amongst hundreds of entries, based on creativity and adherence to the brief. The first place, with a cash prize of Rs 25,000, was awarded to two people – Ezer Mascarenhas and Akash Mittal. The second place, with a cash prize of Rs 20,000 went to Wynoma Noronha.
The brief given to participants was that the logo design should communicate the wider vision for a Smart Panaji, which is: “The City of Panaji will transform into a world-class city, achieving a better quality of life in a sustainable environment through economic growth and citizen participation, while retaining our heritage and cultural diversity.”
