VKC Group, the leading manufacturer of PU footwear celebrated International Women’s Day 2023 by honouring its women employees who have been with the company for more than ten years. The event was held on Tuesday at Feroke. The Company honoured 232 women employees at the event.
A total of 139 women employees who have completed 10 years of service received special mementoes from VKC Mammad Koya, Chairman, VKC Group. The gesture was in recognition of their contributions to VKC Group’s success and their dedicated service to the company over the years. VKC Razak, Managing Director, VKC Group, presided over the function.
During the event, VKC Group Chairman VKC Mammad Koya said “We are very happy to create opportunities and encourage women for their dedicated services in the workplace by honouring them.” He also added that “it is a great achievement and inspiration to have so many women employees with the VKC family for decades.”
Speaking at the event, VKC Razak said, “We are honoured to celebrate International Women’s Day by recognizing our women employees who have been with us for more than 10 years. Their hard work and dedication have helped us become a leading manufacturer in the industry. We are proud to have them as part of our VKC family, and we hope to continue our journey of success together.”
A special talk by chief guest Nisha Soman, Relationship Coach, Family counsellor and HRD Trainer on ‘Embrace Equity’ was also held as part of the event. VKC Group has a strong commitment to gender equality and women’s empowerment in the workplace. The company has implemented various policies and initiatives to promote gender diversity and ensure equal opportunities for all employees.
