THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
Thiruvananthapuram Division, Southern Railway organized diverse programs across the division from 29.10.2018 to 03.11.2018 to mark Vigilance Awareness Week 2018. This year’s theme being ‘Eradicate Corruption – Build a New India’; in-house seminars, outreach programs at educational institutions and awareness sessions for passengers were conducted at various stations.
Today(03.11.18) an Elocution competition was organised as a part of outreach program in association with Kerala Institute of Travel and Tourism Studies(KITTS), Thiruvananthapuram. The event showcased the excellence of perception about anti-corruption methods and presentation skills amongst the students at the premier institute of Tourism in Kerala. The competitions were conducted in English and Malayalam. The winners of the event were I) Malayalam Elocution: Vidhya (1st Prize), Minnu (2nd Prize), Aishwarya Lakshmi (3rd Prize), II) English Elocution: Aishwarya Lakshmi (1st Prize), Lidiya (2nd Prize), Jothish & Jibin (3rd Prize-Tie)
Ajay Kaushik, Sr.Divisional Commercial Manager. Thiruvananthapuram Division made a presentation on Vigilance Awareness and interacted with the students. Dr. B Rajendran, Principal, KITTS, Thiruvananthapuram proposed the vote of thanks and Harikrishnan P.K Asst. Professor, KITTS coordinated the events. Faculties and students marked the audience.
