  • Vietjet Named Best Ultra-Low-Cost Carrier for 2025 by AirlineRatings

By NE Reporter on February 13, 2025

    MUMBAI:
Vietjet has been named the Best Ultra-Low-Cost Carrier for 2025, a key category in the World’s Best Airlines Awards by AirlineRatings, the globally recognized authority on airline safety and product ratings. This recognition underscores Vietjet’s ongoing commitment to making air travel more accessible while upholding high standards of operational efficiency and service quality.

Having honored Vietjet with prestigious international awards for years, AirlineRatings recognizes the airline for redefining affordability while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction. Vietjet continues to enhance its fleet of Airbus A330s and A321s while expanding its flight network, making air travel more accessible to everyone. The airline is also recognized for its pioneering and revolutionary low-cost carrier products, including a Business-class service that delivers top-tier experiences for passengers.

Sharon Petersen, CEO of AirlineRatings, applauded Vietjet’s achievement, stating: “Vietjet has mastered the art of delivering exceptional value to passengers, combining competitive fares with a reliable and innovative service model. Their ability to make air travel accessible to millions without compromising on safety or efficiency sets them apart. Additionally, our onboard reviews have consistently highlighted the dedication of their crew to assisting all passengers, which we highly regard.”

The World’s Best Airlines Awards, hosted by AirlineRatings since 2013, honor the best airlines across various important categories in the industry. AirlineRatings has also awarded Vietjet a seven-star safety rating—the highest ranking for aviation safety—and recognized it as one of the world’s Top 10 safest and best low-cost airlines for many years. In 2022, Vietjet was also named Value Airline of the Year by the organization.

Vietjet’s growing flight network offers non-stop flights from New Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and Kochi to Vietnamese key hubs, including Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang. The airline has recently announced two new direct services linking Bangalore and Hyderabad to Ho Chi Minh City, bringing the total to 10 routes with 78 weekly flights between India and Vietnam. With Vietjet’s affordable fares and seamless connections, Indian travelers can easily transit through Vietnam to popular destinations, including Bali, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, and major Australian cities.
