UST, a leading digital transformation solutions company, has begun a free Covid-19 vaccination drive for all its Kochi USsociates (UST employees) and their immediate dependents (spouse and children) above 18 years of age, on June 17th 2021, Thursday at its Kochi office in Infopark. The drive will continue for 3 days till Saturday. The company is organising the vaccination drive for its 15,000-plus employees and their family members across India. The vaccination drive is conducted at UST offices in Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi, Bengaluru, Pune, Hyderabad, Coimbatore, Noida and Chennai. UST has over 8000 employees in Kerala and more than 2000 employees in Kochi.
UST is also extending a much-needed helping hand to COVID-19 pandemic relief in India by working closely with governments, hospitals, relief workers, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) across the country. UST has already committed a minimum amount of Rs 10 crore to support COVID-19 relief work in India. The company also encourages employee contributions to meet the increased demand for medical supplies and support the communities. In addition, UST will also equally match the contribution of its associates.
UST has announced that the company will continue to pay the salary of the associates who have lost their lives to Covid-19. This will be paid to the families of the late USsociates for a period of two years from the day of the associates’ demise. This is in addition to other financial benefits, including the UST Group Life Insurance and other statutory benefits that the late associates would be eligible for.
