THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
After the opening of Aluva-Thrissur and Thrissur-Shoranur sections on 20th August 2018 morning, many train services are getting resumed. Regular train service is being restored as the rakes stranded at various places reach train originating stations.
Passenger specials are also run to support the passengers held up at various stations and are notified from time to time. Southern Railway is taking all out efforts to bring normalcy to train operations and resume services in Thiruvananthapuram and Palakkad divisions.
CHANGE IN THE PATTERN OF TRAIN SERVICES
The following are additional changes in the pattern of train services, after the restoration of train traffic.
TRAINS FULLY CANCELLED on 21st August 2018.
1. Train No 12646 Hazrat Nizamuddin-Ernakulam Millenium Express scheduled to leave Hazrat Nizamuddin at 05.50 hrs on 21st August, is fully cancelled.
RESCHEDULING
1. Train No 12075 Kozhikode-Thiruvananthapuram Janshatabdhi Express, scheduled to leave Kozhikode at 13.40 hrs on 21st August, is Rescheduled to leave Kozhikode at 17.00 hrs on 21st August.
2. Train No 16316 Kochuveli-KSR Bengaluru Express scheduled to leave Kochuveli at 16.45 hrs on 21st August, is Rescheduled to leave Kochuveli at 04.00 hrs on 22nd August.
3. Train No 12512 Thiruvananthapuram-Gorakhpur Raptisagar Express scheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram central at 06.15 hrs. on 22nd August, is Rescheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram central at 08:15 hrs. on 22nd August.

The following special trains will be run to clear the extra rush of passengers.
Special fare special trains between Nanded – Ernakulam Jn.
Train No.07505 Nanded – Ernakulam Jn. special fare special train will leave Nanded at 07.10 hrs. on 22.08.2018 and reach Ernakulam Jn. at 13.25 hrs. on 23.08.2018.
Train No.07504 Ernakulam Jn. – Nanded special fare special train will leave Ernakulam Jn. at 23.00 hrs. on 27.08.2018 and reach Nanded at 06.30 hrs. on 29.08.2018.
Composition: AC 2-tier – 1, AC 3-tier – 2, Sleeper Class – 10, Second Class Chair Car (reserved) – 3 & Luggage-cum-brake van – 2 coaches.
Stoppages: Mudkhed, Dharmabad, Basar, Nizamabad, Kamareddy, Bolarum, Malkajgiri, Kacheguda, Jadcherla, Mahbubnagar, Wanaparti Road, Gadwal, Kurnool City, Dhone, Gooty, Tadipatri, Muddanoor, Yerraguntla, Cuddapah, Nandalur, Rajampeta, Koduru, Renigunta, Tiruttani, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Ottapalam, Thrisur and Aluva.
