The Department of Computer Science, Cochin University of Science, and Technology is organizing the 6 th International Conference on Data Science and Artificial Intelligence in association with IEEE, an international organization of engineers during December 3 rd to 5 th .
Faculties from world-renowned universities such as Massachusetts, George Washington and Maryland will lead the conference. Classes, discussions and training programs on ‘Artificial Intelligence: For the Upliftment of Society’ will be held as part of the conference. The conference assumes significance in the backdrop of CUSAT securing a good position in the recently announced world ranking in the field of Computer Science by virtue of its outstanding research in the areas of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.
The conference will help the teachers, researchers and students to gain an in-depth understanding of innovative research in the fields of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence in both academic and industries realms. With a view to equip the teachers of schools and colleges to effectively, impart knowledge to the students as Data Science, and Artificial Intelligence are included in the curriculum from school to higher education, a one – day special training program for school and college teachers in artificial intelligence will be organized as part of the conference.
