THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
The Neurosurgery department, Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Trivandrum is organizing a 2 day teaching program for Neurosurgery resident doctors from all over India.
The 16th Instructional and 10th Foundation neurosurgery teaching course is a 2-day teaching course ( 4,5 May 2019) held under the aegis of the Neurological Society of India .
Forty faculty members and senior neurosurgeons from premier institutions all over the country will be the course instructors and 80 delegates are taking part in the course. The instructional course offers mock neurosurgery exit exam scenarios with clinical case presentations and vivas on radiology, operative surgery and pathology .
The foundation course has instructional and hands on modules in basic anatomy, radiology, operative surgery, intra operative, neuro monitoring, vascular anastomoses, endovascular, cervical and lumbar spine surgery.
