KOCHI:
Bringing local flavour to connect with potential customers in different parts of the country, Tata Sky, India’s leading content distribution and Pay TV platform, launched a new campaign in Kerala with popular television actress Rebecca Santosh.
Drawing inspiration from her popular television show, the campaign integrates Rebecca’s popularity to highlight Tata Sky’s offering that sets it apart from competition. The campaign highlights 1+2 screens that offer the convenience of watching Live TV channels simultaneously on two mobile screens- anytime and anywhere, along with the television. And the benefit of adding and dropping channels conveniently via the Mobile App, whenever the customer desires.
The central theme of the campaign is that when it comes to entertainment, there are no arguments that Tata Sky is the best. Set against the backdrop of courtroom, the ad films showcase Rebecca Santosh in her popular character of Kavya as a lawyer wherein she is introducing the members of the court to the product offerings of a Tata Sky connection. She highlights the option of viewing Live TV channels on mobile and the benefit of anytime addition and removal of channels through the Tata Sky mobile app for a hassle free and convenient TV viewing experience.
Being the leading DTH player in the industry with over 22 million subscribers, Tata Sky, plans to further amplify the engagement with a consumer contest giving the few lucky winners a chance to have a digital meet and greet with Rebecca Santosh.
Talking about the campaign, Anurag Kumar, Chief Communications Officer, Tata Sky, said, “We are customising our campaigns for various states driving the conversation through locally relatable messaging. We are steadily gaining ground in the South Markets and to dial up our efforts in Kerala, we have roped in the very popular Rebecca Santosh in her screen avatar to further create resonance with consumers. For our subscribers in Kerala, we have also recently launched the Tata Sky Malayalam Cinema service which has been well received. With affordable packages, 1+2 screen offerings and ease of adding and dropping channels, Tata Sky is increasingly being preferred by the people of Kerala.”
