The products of Supplyco, a public sector owned company, will be made available online through the door-to-door delivery platform BigCartKerala.com. All products will have the discount of 5 to 10 per cent given at Supplyco.
Apart from the Supplyco products, BigCartKerala.com will also deliver fish, various meat products, fruits, vegetables, bakery items and dairy products from all other retail chains at a nominal delivery fee. Lifestyle and home appliances products are also delivered. The meat products are made available from Meat Products of India outlets.
Joyce Sajan, a women entrepreneur from Kottayam, started BigCartKerala.com to deliver fruits and vegetables from Kerala Horticorp and Vegetables and Fruit Promotion Council during the lockdown period. Customers can also place orders through WhatsApp number 8921731931.
BigCartKerala.com, headquartered at Thiruvananthapuram, had already made 25,000 deliveries in the last six months. Apart from Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram, the service is now available in Thodupuzha and Kottayam and will be made available throughout Kerala soon.
