Nursing students also presented a visual display on stroke awareness.
On the 31st, a Stroke Day Run commenced from the hospital entrance, inaugurated by Lions Club District Governor Rajan N Namboothiri and Dr. Vivek Nambiar, Head of the Stroke Department. Around 200 participants joined the Stroke Day Run, which went from the hospital to Edappally Kunnumpuram Junction and back.

He also stressed that individuals with heart disease or valve disorders face an elevated stroke risk and should undergo regular screenings and take necessary precautions.
