GURUGRAM:
In a bid to strengthen its network across Western and Southern India, SpiceJet, the country’s favourite carrier, today announced the launch of eight new international and domestic flights. All the new flights are scheduled to commence operations in February 2020.
SpiceJet is the first Indian airline to offer direct connectivity between Ahmedabad and Jeddah – Saudi Arabia’s commercial capital and a key transit point for thousands of Hajj pilgrims visiting Mecca and Medina. With the introduction of a non- stop flight on the Ahmedabad-Jeddah-Ahmedabad route, SpiceJet hopes that Ahmedabad’s international air connectivity will get a major boost. The flight is effective from 20 th February, 2020.
SpiceJet has also introduced daily flights on the Ahmedabad- Hyderabad route. The airline has also enhanced its operations with additional frequencies on sectors like Bengaluru – Chennai – Bengaluru (6 th frequency), Bengaluru – Vijayawada – Bengaluru (4 th frequency). These flights will operate daily except on Tuesdays. SpiceJet will service the routes using a mix of 90-seater Bombardier Q400 aircraft and 189-seater Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
SpiceJet is celebrating the launch by announcing introductory all-inclusive promotional fares starting at INR 12895/- on Ahmedabad – Jeddah and INR 9860/- on Jeddah – Ahmedabad routes. Bookings are now open on www.spicejet.com, SpiceJet’s mobile app and through online travel portals and travel agents.
