To clear the extra rush on Kollam – Tambaram route, the following special trains will be operated.
I. SPECIAL FARE SPECIAL TRAINS BETWEEN TAMBARAM – KOLLAM
Train No.06027 Tambaram – Kollam special fare special train will leave Tambaram at 17.15 hrs. on 02nd, 04th, 07th, 09th, 16th, 18th, 21st, 23rd & 25thJanuary, 2019 and reach Kollam at 09.20 hrs. the next day.
Train No.06028 Kollam – Tambaram special fare special train will leave Kollam at 11.30 hrs. on 03rd, 05th, 08th, 10th, 12th, 22nd, 24th & 26th January, 2019 and reach Tambaram at 03.30 hrs. the next day.
Composition: AC 3-tier – 2, Sleeper Class – 7, General Second Class – 3 & Luggage-cum-brake van – 2 coaches.
Stoppages: Chengalpattu, Villupuram, Vriddhachalam, Tiruchchirappalli, Dindigul, Madurai, Virudhunagar, Tiruttangal, Sivakasi, Srivilliputtur, Rajapalayam, Sankarankovil, Pambakovil Shandy, Kadayanallur, Tenkasi, Sengottai, Bhagavathipuram, Aryankavu, Tenmalai, Edaman, Punalur, Auvaneeswaram, Kottarakara and Kundara.
II. SUVIDHA SPECIAL TRAINS BETWEEN TAMBARAM – KOLLAM
Train No.82609 Tambaram – Kollam Suvidha special train will leave Tambaram at 17.15 hrs. on 11th and 14th January 2019 and reach Kollam at 09.20 hrs. the next day.
Train No.82618 Kollam – Tambaram Suvidha special train will leave Kollam at 11.30 hrs. on 15th, 17th and 19th January 2019 and reach Tambaram at 03.30 hrs. the next day.
Composition: AC 3-tier – 2, Sleeper Class – 7, General Second Class – 3 & Luggage-cum-brake van – 2 coaches.
