  • South Indian Bank launches SIB HER Account

    KOCHI:

    South Indian Bank has launched SIB HER Account, a premium savings account exclusively designed for women. The product aims to empower and reward today’s financially independent women by offering a host of attractive banking and lifestyle privileges, combining financial benefits with personal well-being and convenience.

    The SIB HER Account has been thoughtfully crafted to support women at every stage of their financial journey. It comes with an array of exclusive benefits such as a premium debit card, locker rent offers, retail loan concessions, add-on accounts for family members, and comprehensive insurance coverage. The account is available for both domestic and NRI customers, reflecting South Indian Bank’s commitment to serving women across segments and geographies.

    With this new offering, account holders can enjoy higher returns on their savings through an Auto Sweep facility on balances above ₹1 lakh, along with unlimited ATM withdrawals and complimentary lounge access with the premium HER Debit Card. The account extends ₹1 Crore Air Accident Insurance and ₹1 Lakh Personal Accident Cover for death, made available absolutely free to account holders, along with a Cancer Care Insurance Cover of up to ₹25 lakhs available at a special discount on premium.

    Further enhancing the experience, women customers can avail a 50% waiver on locker rent, exclusive offers on shopping, lifestyle, health, and wellness, as well as milestone rewards that celebrate their financial achievements. The product also extends financial benefits to families with three free add-on accounts and provides 50% processing fee waivers on housing, vehicle, and personal loans.

    Adding to its list of empowering features, the SIB HER Account offers special premium discounts on term insurance for life cover of ₹2 crore and above, exclusively for women. Customers also benefit from free banking transactions, with no charges on NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, demand drafts, cheque books, and more. The SIB HER Account also offers HER Haven (Housing Loan), Vehicle Loan, and HER Power Business Loan, providing women customers with attractive concessions on processing fees and interest rates, along with the convenience of one-day sanction for business loans. Customers can also avail exclusive HER Milestone Rewards through the Debit Card, making every transaction more rewarding.

Through this initiative, we aim to empower women by combining financial independence with lifestyle benefits, ensuring they enjoy premium banking privileges, comprehensive financial protection, and focused support for asset creation.”

    The SIB HER Account is available to women between the ages of 18 and 54 years. Customers are required to maintain a monthly balance of ₹50,000; however, this requirement is waived if they maintain a fixed deposit of ₹1 lakh or achieve debit card transactions of ₹50,000 in the previous month.

    With this launch, South Indian Bank continues to strengthen its focus on customer-centric innovation, building a robust suite of products tailored to diverse customer needs while reaffirming its commitment to inclusivity and empowerment.
