MOROCCO:
Stage 1 of Rally of Morocco saw riders covering the distance of 540 km. At the end of the stage, Sherco TVS Rally Factory Team’s Lorenzo Santolino stands at P7, Johnny Aubert at P25, and Michael Metge at P28 in the FIM Motorcycle category.
David Casteu, Team Manager, Sherco TVS Rally Factory Team said, "Lorenzo is doing exceptionally well in the Rally and is in a good pace. Johnny started first in the Rally and is riding without any mistakes. It was a long day for Michael but we are confident he packs in good timing in the next stage. The bikes are in good shape and are ready for the marathon stage today.”
Lorenzo Santolino, Racer, Sherco TVS Rally Factory Team said “I am thrilled to complete the Stage 1 with the top riders. The navigational terrains are a big challenge but our team and technicians are keeping a good check on the bikes to ensure optimum performance in the Rally.”
The Stage 2 of the Rally will be a marathon race and will cover 570 km with a 370 km special to Erfoud.
