The art and cultural heritage of India is of the richest and most ancient in the world. Manaswi Patel is a young vibrant artist who has a huge passion for her artwork.
Her art takes its form byways of creativity through visualization-blended with soul and mind. Manaswi has such details in her work which require experienced eyes to find. She is well versed and experienced artist, who is a painter by profession, would be visiting and showcasing her art in an exhibition in Mumbai very soon.
Her art is basically about Mandalas, but these mandalas do not reflect any of history or the technique or the meaning previously given. Her art is freehand designs created in Mandalas, with the use of a special technique to give them texture and to make them feel like embossed painting.
The paintings are created by Acrylic color and mediums only; instead of using a small brush to create the lines it is created with acrylic threads. These threadlike patches hence get some texture and look like it is embossed on the canvas. Secondly, it has a unique light effect which can be seen in the dark by using any light focused on painting particularly on the work created in texture.
She completed her schooling and M.Sc in agriculture at Dhule district. She was the first Girl child to achieve “Ideal student in academics for the year 2000” in 50 years of history of the school. With this, the school gave an honor of “Ganapati visarjan” by a Girl child, as it was the tradition of the school. Her “Krishi Pragya” project which was an old concept of Tubewell Recharge with the innovative technique was later accepted by farmers of Nandurbar and Dhule District.
The project was awarded as “Farmer friendly project of the year”. She joined State Bank of India during 2008, accepted various postings and assignments at different places in Maharashtra. From 2013 to 2018 she served as a Credit Manager for SBI for Home loans to High Net worth Clients, achieved the best official in credit (Western Mumbai) for 2017 and 2018. Finally, she resigned from SBI in March 2019 to follow her passion for Art and to live a creative life in a different way.
Her artwork has always gathered appreciation from people residing in almost all parts. One of the Artwork is liked and purchased by Rahul Jashnani, owner of India’s Big Ethnic Saree Brand, JASHN. Since childhood, the creative and artistic thoughts were always there, which were reflecting on doing things in a different way, although being in the financial sector for the majority of the time.
She started painting since 2014 and completed 15 artworks which were displayed in many head offices, art shows. Working with a broad variety, Manaswi orchestrates a complex artistic profile that emphasizes on intricacies of emotions when small miracles transpire around us. Her masterful compositions often make use of diverse and even dreamlike environments. Capturing the alluring forms of the environment with her technique Manaswi has conquered art critiques and earned her widespread acclaim.
She is also a member of Colorosity, which is a team of young entrepreneurs who are willing to change the way; society perceives the world for betterment. As once remarked by Pablo Picasso, “Colors, like features, follow the changes of the emotions”. There have been many studies regarding the impact of colors on human psychology. “.
Color is a powerful communication tool and can be used to signal action, influence mood, and even influence physiological reactions. In Colorosity they incorporate color psychology into the art. It is used in multiple ways for self-development. Manaswi is conveying the work of Colorosity through her art with the help of the technical team. The colors, collaborated with her art, give a boost to emotional intelligence, subconscious mind, and the brand. She says ‘keep the child within you alive and it will keep you alive’ she gets the ingenuity and the audacity to do new artwork.
